I am a therapist trained in both family systems and contemporary interpersonal psychodynamics, with twenty years of experience working with adults, children, families, and couples.

Licensed as a Marriage & Family Therapist with a Diagnostic Privilege in New York State and also licensed in Pennsylvania, I offer individual, couple, and family therapy in English and Spanish with an emphasis on helping people live more enjoyable lives and freeing themselves from recurring patterns of interaction that keep them feeling stuck.

My approach integrates training and experience in social science and mental health in Spain, Ireland, and the United States, and my expertise lies in issues related to attachment, trauma, dissociation, and multiculturalism in both adults and children.

Beyond the treatment room

In addition to my private practice, I am a faculty member and supervisor at the William Alanson White Institute, where I am a graduate of the Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy Training Program as well as the Institute’s License Qualifying Program in Psychoanalysis. I teach courses and workshops on family dynamics and psychodynamic treatment and have provided individual and group supervision to clinicians in public mental health clinics throughout New York City.
